Jamaica Epicurean Escape
The Jamaica Epicurean Escape - a gourmet food and wine event- will be held November 29 to December 2, 2012 on the spacious and beautiful grounds of the Richmond Estate in St Ann.
Our Festival is a showcase of Jamaica’s premier chefs and culinary personalities, combined with a several international celebrity chefs. The festival will feature restaurants, caterers, specialty shopping, fine wines, beers, great entertainment plus the opportunity to participate in interesting seminars, cooking demonstrations and competitions.
The Jamaica Epicurean Escape will be the premier event for food enthusiasts in Jamaica with expected attendance of over 10,000. In addition to offering good food and entertainment, a major objective of our organization is establish a charitable foundation that will be dedicated to identifying needy cases and working through various organizations, social groups and individuals, to distribute funds, or provide other types of assistance relating to the provision of food. A significant portion of the funds raised at the Jamaica Epicurean Escape will be channeled into this foundation. Our goal is to raise enough funds through the festival to be able to donate over $100 million Jamaican dollars to this fund over the next four years. With you support we can do this.
